We strive to provide you with fresh local produce. We start with our own produce and then we reach out to local farmers and NJ farmers. We will purchase from out-of-state vendors when necessary to provide you with the variety of produce that you expect. The vegetables that we grow (depending on seasonal availability) include a variety of tomatoes such as heirloom, jersey and tomatilloes, cucumbers, bell and hot peppers, zucchini and yellow squash, and fall squash, to name a few. Our own eggs come from cage free chickens that are free of hormones and antibiotics. You can see them out in the yard on sunny days. We will periodically supplement our egg selection with farm market eggs to meet your needs.
We have two locally obtained products to our farm market. We offer honey from our bee keepers. This honey is from the hives on our property as well as from hives in the area and other locations in NJ depending on supply and customer demand. Apples, peaches and nectarines are provided by local farms when available and NJ or out of state vendors as needed depending on the season. This year we are providing a greater selection of USDA certified organic vegetables for your enjoyment from several local farms. For example, organic herbs and vegetables grown by our neighbor, Harrison Brook Farm (Valley Road, Liberty Corner).
