Summer Events:

​

• Sprout Scouts: Do you have a 3rd, 4th or 5th grader who loves to be outside?  Learn more about Sprout Scouts, an exciting hands-on summer program aimed to teach 8-11 year olds about growing food. We are offering two four-week sessions, in July starting 7/3, and August starting 8/7. Families can register for one or both. Sorry, no drop ins, pre-registration is required.  

  • Sprout Scouts is a fun, hands-on, skills based program designed by FoodCorps and Life Lab to excite kids about getting their hands dirty, growing and tasting their own food, and connecting with nature in an uplifting, positive environment in their own community. This small weekly group will spend time learning the science of soil, seed germination, and growing food in their own corner plot of the organic field at English Farm.

  • Cost for the four-week session is $60 per child.

  • We will be holding an information session at the farm on June 26, at 10:30 AM for those interested. You can register for the information session at SignUpGenius.

  • Wear play clothes and bring a water bottle!

• Farm Friends Story Time from 10 - 11 am Thursdays. Please sign up before the day of in the store, or at this link.

• Our outdoor venue is now open for birthdays, family gatherings, and luncheons. Detailed information is listed below. 

• Don't forget to say hello to our animals! Tina, Frodo, Hank, Millie, the chickens, and pigs love when you stop by. ​​​​

Schedule an Event at English Farm!

​

Our historic farm in Liberty Corner provides a beautiful private venue for celebrating with friends and family. We are happy to host events including but not limited to birthday parties, scout groups, picnics, and gatherings with family and friends.  Holding an event on our farm is a unique and fun way to celebrate any occasion. The farm is open for private events from May through mid-November, weather permitting. 

 

Event package includes:

• Private outdoor area for 3 hours, plus half hour set up and half hour clean up.

• Picnic tables

• Access to the farm, farm store and animals

 

Birthday parties include the events package above, plus options: scenic hayride, seasonal activities, gifts for children.

Professional Photography and Film Making Information:

​

We welcome those who wish to use English Farm as a backdrop/setting for any portrait/commercial photography and film or video.  These events require scheduling and fee payment.  You can schedule a session by contacting hq@englishfarm.org.

Friends and Family Photos (non-paid photographers):

​

We encourage the use of a personal camera or cell phone to capture memories of your farm visit.  We ask that you do NOT:

• Bring any professional photography equipment or props to the farm.

• Enter any of the areas marked No Access, Do Not Enter, or areas with working farm equipment. 

• Include our farm home as part of public photography.
